The Secrets of the HealthPremium's High-Performance
1. Antimicrobial High-Capacity Pre-Filtration
The HealthPremium's super-efficient antimicrobial pre-filter element allows the PowerSorp and HyperHEPA-filter to last up to 5 times longer. To extend the life of the pre-filter itself, it has a large filter surface area of ca. 30 square feet (2.8 square meters). This ensures that the filter will only have to be replaced approximately once a year.
2. High-Performance Fan
The HealthPremium's high-quality fan is not only the most powerful in its class, it also features steel ball bearings for outstanding durability and non-stop use. The fan is individually balanced to eliminate vibration and for ultra-quiet performance, it is positioned between the noise absorbing filters.
3. Dual Impact Ionization
The dual ionization stage generates a constant stream of negative ions which are evenly dispersed in the airflow. The unique positioning of the dual ionizers in front of the final filtration stage means that virtually no charged particles are released with the clean airflow, as is the case with conventional ion generators. The negative ions generated by the HealthPremium serve to balance the surplus of positive ions that is present in many polluted indoor environments and thereby contribute to a pleasant climate.
4. PowerSorp Filter
The HealthPremium features a PowerSorp gas and odour filter which contains a unique blend of activated carbon and impregnated active alumina for the removal of a wide variety of gases and unpleasant odours. While other air cleaners use only a few grammes of such media, the HealthPremium contains over 7 pounds (3.2 kilograms).
5. Antimicrobial HyperHEPA® Filtration Technology
The HealthPremium features antimicrobial HyperHEPA technology that results in up to 100 times higher retention of airborne particles (e.g. dust, allergens, microorganisms) than that provided by conventional HEPA air cleaners. The entire air cleaner, not just the HyperHEPA-filter, performs at 99.97% filter efficiency for particles of 0.3 microns in size and larger. The minimum efficiency for smaller particles such as bacteria and viruses is 99% or higher. To ensure ultra-long filter life, the HyperHEPA filter offers an impressive surface area of 60 square feet (5.5 square meters).
6. EvenFlow Diffuser
The EvenFlow diffuser returns cleaned air to the room without causing drafts. The large distance of the diffuser from the air intake avoids the problem of continuously recleaning the same air.
